Anyone upgraded from 064/064s to 078/078s? I currently have SD40 (mod to stepless), k6 and c2 (for travel). I am more to pourovers and uses paper filter when pulling espresso shots. With this, i am not much into body in terms of espresso and looking back to Lance's comments, 078s is better in terms of light roast compared to similar priced grinders (df83, 64, etc). Initially, i am swayed to 078 since i drink pourover most but would like occasional espresso (light roast). Over the weekend, I was able to taste brewed coffee using 078 ( the barista is not familiar if it is 078 or 078s) and was among one of the best brewed coffee I tasted. My thoughts are if its 078s, I will upgrade. If it is 078, I am considering backing out and explore Ode v2 and df64v5 for flexibility. In one reddit post, Lance mentioned if up to him, he will choose 064s and zp6.

Hello , ima 23 year old whoâs in desperate need of passive income . Wrecked my 2023 leased car , drug court , child , yanno average financial issues . Iâm extremely intelligent but not super tech savvy compared to yall but I can commit fraud or purchase drugs off the DNMs so I understand how to learn anything on a computer . Subaru's being set up for a fall by this point, he's trying to save an entire empire but also blindly accepting allies such as Vincent who have almost slaughtered his own friends and companions, it would be the perfect setup for a repeat of what happened with Todd where Subaru thinks he can still work together and is betrayed. The difference is that Todd's betrayal is ironically more in line with the way Subaru's been treated by the people he formed solid relationships with later on, in that it was based on Todd's misunderstanding of Subaru. Todd is murderous and shouldn't be redeemed(though that doesn't exclude the possibility of him surviving/maybe becoming less villainous in future, I don't read too much into bad characters getting better endings than they deserve because the morality of this world is a mess), but he's just Vincent with much less power and as a werewolf hiding his identity.
And the person who first started him on this path was Al encouraging him to continue acting like a hero, when the series clearly doesn't view heroes in a positive light. I don't see how this can't have a tragic turn at some point - it's no different to Subaru summoning strength(pre the heroics and Al's input later on) in arc 5 with Julius by talking about his ideals of knights - that doesn't exactly go well and especially Julius the knight in question inspiring that pep talk loses everything in a way which clearly attacks his position. Subaru wants to be a dashing knight in a world where the knights are generally corrupt and oppressive, Julius the epitome of that ideal loses everything which makes him a knight, Subaru wants to be a hero in a world where the heroes are either...bar brawlers who don't care about much other than fighting a la Reid Kurgan and early Wilhelm or tragic figures trapped by fate and unable to prevent the disasters they'd most like to a la Theresia and Reinhardt. I don't see that ending well if he's seriously going off of that? So I think Al's essentially set him up for a big fall and change in character later on by encouraging him after Rem's words took away that goal.
I think it's weird how the fanbase eats it up as a positive. If it continues being a positive I'll have to ask, 1) why then are there almost 5 arcs remaining with major character development down the line? Why do we get the line from Emilia's trial of Subaru saying to Reinhardt a hero is all he can ever be? When will his bitterness at the concept appear because that's way too much foreshadowing to cut? Why is it people are believing Rem is entirely in the wrong for telling him he's not her hero, but Al telling him to be one when he was enraged at that sort of idealism in arc 5 and then going with it later on had such sinister undertones, is a good thing? Al, who has connections with the bad parts of the witch cult? Maybe we're underestimating how big an impact he can still have on the current arc, just because it's named after Vincent. I think Subaru's idealism of some people higher up in the kingdom is harder to go at but his friendship with Vincent has GOT to be undermined at some point, it's the absolute best opportunity for it to happen since it's with a character who has major impacts in the story but not in a way which has to affect Emilia camp and the royal selection, and one who's only appeared in two arcs of the series which are in another country. It needs to be the beginning of him having his respect for these authority figures shaken.
I mean, heck it. You could even argue Subaru's child transformation is a major influence on this arc and the relationships he's formed. He went back to putting his father on a huge pedestal, and was described as struggling to confront Vincent at the beginning in the same way a child fears adults, it could even be similar to his relationship with Roswaal and Echidna where they became foils for his parents: in this case we have very different figures who you could say took the parental role, as Yorna clearly comes off as a motherly figure to his child self as well and unlike Echidna and Roswaal, Yorna an Vincent are two characters with very different worldviews yet who are still heavily tied together with a different sort of complex romantic relationship. If Subaru is betrayed by Vincent in a similar way, it would be very original but still play off of a lot of themes we've already seen with his relationship with Roswaal.
Every one of these transformations has had a purpose, and if Subaru in his child form doesn't come to a point which fundamentally challenges his previous thinking his union with the restored adult form wouldn't have anything really satisfying to say about him: that he died a lot? I don't think that would add anything. That he's a hero? He concluded that in the last arc, this should if anything develop the hero bit in a healthier and less dependent on others' expectations way. So in my opinion some great things he can learn from it are: being able to end his idealisation of authority figures such as Reinhardt, Wilhelm, Vincent, and yes, Natsuki Kenichi; finding his own identity rather than stitching it together from his idealisations of others(his flawed coping mechanism in the ten second loop, where he referred to being unable to do anything as Natsuki Subaru, but imagining what everyone else he's ever met would say or do); and ultimately overcoming his childhood, in which he only thought well of himself at all based on those expectations, to learn he is the one actually achieving these things and accept those accomplishments.
This would no longer be the same character arc as amnesiabaru had, because the "You are a hero" part was a key part of his flaw here. A hero is someone admired by others, he needs to stop admiring others and doubting himself and just accept himself without the hero part. Rem saying he's not her hero wasn't an attack but he read it as one because he revolved his entire record of achievements over almost his entire life in Lugunica based on her expectations. He needs to learn her saying that wasn't saying he isn't valuable, she's clearly started feeling more positively about him at this point, but it was just rejecting the concept of having a hero - because, honestly, that's not what Rem needed or wanted anyway. I think a healthier version of Subaru would be able to say something like "I want to help you because I love you/I'm your friend/I care about you" and that wouldn't have been rejected by her at all.

I watched TVD for the first time recently and immediately found myself rooting for Damon. I've watched it a few more times and my opinion has only gotten stronger.
Damon seems like such an obviously better choice that I was surprised to discover how many TVD fans actually hate Delena.
I hated Stefan at first and found him extremely annoying and overbearing. He has grown on me as a character but I'm still completely disinterested in Stelena as a couple. Stefan seems way happier when he's not with Elena IMHO.
When Stefan notices the bond developing between Elena and Damon, he pushes back against it. He thinks the worst of Damon and tells Elena multiple times that Damon isn't capable of good and encourages her to write him off as bad.. and what bothers me is that 1) he's wrong 2) he often withholds information that makes Damon's side of the story more understandable or at least gives context to Damon's actions.
Damon is always honest with Elena about Stefan. Instead of just telling Elena his side when she asks him about the past, Damon often tells Elena to go ask Stefan. When Damon does tell Elena things, he's more objective and just shares his story and lets Elena form her own opinions. Stefan tells Elena things with the goal of making her see it his way. When Stefan is off doing Ripper stuff or Elena is upset at him, Damon tells her the truth. He tells her that Stefan is really working to help her, that Stefan can be saved, he calls Stefan when Elena stabbed Jeremy and didn't trust Stefan. Damon may flirt with Elena constantly, but he never disparages Stefan no matter how many times he gets the opportunity to do so and make himself look better to Elena.
After Elena says she is in love with Damon, it takes Stefan a long time to accept it. Now I know there was a sire bond and that does warrant questions about consent, BUT every source repeatedly confirmed that the sire bond doesn't affect feelings. Caroline and Stefan are the only ones who refuse to accept that Elena actually loves Damon. Meanwhile Jenna, Katherine, Jeremy, Bonnie, Alaric, John, Isobel, Matt, and Rebekah all saw Delena coming from a mile away.
Stefan accepts that Elena has feelings for Damon and gives her space to make a decision but then refuses to accept her decision when it isn't him. And I've noticed that Stelena fans mirror this. Stelena fans tend to hate Damon and deny the existence of any real connection between him and Elena, as if she just needed to get Damon out of her system so she could go back to Stefan.
Delena fans tend to be super invested in romantic chemistry and little gestures and are just thrilled to see all of that pay off in a HEA, however imperfect it is.
I feel like this sub needs to take some pointers from Stefan's behavior after he accepts Delena. That Stefan is awesome. Stefan was not his best self with Elena. Damon is his best self with Elena. Stefan is capable of being his best self as Elena's friend, and I think that says a lot.
Tl;Dr If Stelena could stop disparaging Delena the way Stefan disparages Damon on every single post here, that'd be great #DelenaForever đ

From what I noticed the âliquidation discountsâ, now appear to be a flat 25% off list price on just about everything at the store. I noticed a significant increase in children/baby toys and necessities, such as car seats in the BBBY store. After speaking with the associate, she told me that they are being sent a lot of childrenâs merchandise, from âthe warehousesâ. A nurse has said strikes are taking place because "Patients are dying".
The Royal College of Nursing Wales' chief Helen Whyley said members needed "More commitments" from the Welsh government.
Aneurin Bevan health board, in south east Wales, is the only one not to be affected by the strikes.
The RCN in Wales has more than 17,000 members but it is not clear how many will withdraw labour during the strike.
Helen Whyley, director of the Royal College of Nursing in Wales, said members wanted better working conditions and a further rise in pay.

I want to know the most even/equal scale in terms of your hand position being replicated at different positions of the scale.
For example:
If we take all the chords from 1 to 7 in G major, chords 1 2 4 6 are all the same shapes (3 white notes) where as chord shapes 3 5 7 (all have a black note at different parts of the chord) are not repeated in the scale, there only exists one of each, meaning that if you only ever played in G major, youâd feel very natural playing the 1 2 4 6 chords but youâd have to spend more time on the 3 5 7 chords individually (as a very basic example).
So my question is, other than C major, what scale is the most even in terms of the chord shapes being divided fairly equally?
The reason I ask is that different scales lend to playing at different parts of the scale degrees easier or harder, unless you are a highly trained pianist, if you stick to a certain scale you are going to be drawn towards certain scale degrees due to ease, muscle memory in the scale and comfortability, influencing the things you play or improvise, I want to know the best default scale thatâs not C major when it comes to escaping this issue.

I hope you all are doing well and I am thankful for your decision to read my defence of Isle devs. Please be patient with my assessment and read it thoroughly. First of all I want to introduce myself. My name is Wenceslas/VĂĄclav/VagĂĄl and I am a gamer from Czech Republic. I played over 230 games and spend over 18000 hours of playing a variety of games. I am not a pro gamer and I am not a casual/hobby gamer. Gaming is just part of my life and the Isle isn't even in my top 50 games. I play it time to time but a thoroughly watch its development. I knew about Isle before Evrima, but Evrima really grabbed my atention and made me buy it. Since than I ended my school life journey, found a girlfriend and job, and overall I grown up while this game updated once or twice a year.
Why do I write this defence then? Because the negativity of otherwise great isle comunity makes me sad. I know your struggles and I get it. Me myself had been frustrated with many developers and games. But these developers don't deserve as harsh criticism as they get daily. When they made the original Isle, they were much younger and had no clue about the technology advancements that came since then. Somewhere in the development Dondi and co. decided to re-develop the Isle. The old engine couldn't have ever stood the test of time. And while developing the Isle Evrima on UE4, new engine UE5 came out. I must bring to your attention that all this job basically cost them A LOT MORE money than it would to develop an entirely new game. That is because many people already bought the original game. Unlike many modern games, there are no microtransactions, no payed skins etc. Game development is VERY pricy and they team needs to stay small in order to complete Evrima. There is sadly no other way. And to be honest, I am not sure if they (or any other developer) can pull this off.
Every dino and new system cost a lot of money. That is why they have very small development team and why it all takes so long. This game has absolutely different goal that other games like Path of Titans or Beast of Bermuda. This game is closer to a simulation type game than normal/rpg type game. This is also the reason for many balance reasons and uncompleted game systems. Many dinos will click once they have an better fauna and systems in place. But that will take a time due to reasons described in my text already. Before adresing the current and future state of this game, I need to describe the game development better. Please be patient I will try to be quick with this one.
One tank in games like World of tanks or Warthunder takes in best about an half year to develop and implement. It has less animation, the ballancing is easier and it is not a simulation of anything. All other systems are already implemented and even than it takes this much time. Basicaly the same applies to any other game. So an half year to develop one dino is completely normal and is nothing to be angry about. Sadly.
My view on the current dinosaur roster of Isle Evrima and update 6.5.
I like the roster and while I would love other or more dinos, this roster interact with each other very nicely. Except for steggo which has no real threat when adult but it is needed for the game. Like really needed. It is popular but not the most favorite of big herbivores so he brings the attention to itself but doesn't outshine other dinosaurs from the roster. Do you see the patern? No dinosaur is so popular to outshine the others. If we had the more popular and favorite dinosaurs before this (and future) dinosaurs, we would be much less exited for any new addition and the game would't stayed supported. This is all I want to say about the current roster.
6.5 ROSTER
Beipi and Galliminus are both nice additions. While they will not be as played in the future (which all from the dev team knows and it is the intention) - and while writing this i realised this should be highlighted also. By getting the less exiting dinos now, we can all enjoy them, because in the future many of us will most likely not touch them as often - Troodon isn't a dino for solos and that is fine. Single troodon should not be able to hunt most of the dinos. This is very realistic and it is a lovely detail. They buffed it now in the stress test and it looks just right.
Now something little controverisal. - Ceratosaurus -
Many of us players don't understand this dinosaur the right way. Please read carefully now. Cera should never be a much of a danger to any other HUNTER carnivore. And about the discussion about Cera vs Carno. Cera should play much differently to a Carno or any other active hunter. While Carno should be an active hunter, Cera should be played in a group and scavenge for food. I would like to see it with little more health but it shouldn't be a TANK. This is also the intetion it was created with. Cera is and should be an ''vulture''. There will be many hunter carnivores added in game in the future and it doesn't make any sense to make Cera hunter for now and then completely revamp it. Developers were right when they said he is an ''bully''. But it is misunderstood. When they said that Cera will easily bully a Carno, they were right. Cera should bully any carnivore freshly after the hunt. Any carnivore will be exhausted and hungry. THIS IS EXACTLY how hyenas take a prey from lions and other active hunters. They take it while the hunters have exhausted stamina. And also many of the weaker opponents will be added in the future. I do belive, they intent it to be this way and that they have changed their mind in a filosophy of Carno. Single fresh Carno should be able to defeat single fresh Cera. Please try to play it this way and then comment about your experience.

I'm getting married to the love of my life in August. So far, my mother has been on and off about being supportive. Sometimes she says she's happy for me and is helping me figure stuff out, other times when I'm showing her plans for everything, she just says "Okay." Or lectures me about something stupid. My brother, who doesn't even live in the same state as me and hasn't for several years now, has only said that he doesn't approve when he hasn't even met the guy. Everyone except for my best friend has been very lukewarm when I tell them, and it is really starting to upset me. I want to feel beautiful and loved for my wedding, but after I got in the dress and showed my mother, her only reaction was "Oh... it's cute." Now I don't feel pretty in my wedding dress.

The clothes, the music, the videos pushing being hard core. That shit has an effect, and it's real for me. It's real for others too.
This type of shit shouldn't be allowed in media. It programs people. I seen people die because of it. This really depends on the person. But some are more impressionable. This could be due to genetics or due to circumstance where people look for something to grab on to because their own situation is bad. But regardless, this can't be the only severe issue that has come from this type of media.

I've had dogs most of my life (short break for a few years after my GSD - who was a rescue who had serious issues when she came to me, and while she wanted to be (and overall was) a good dog, it was 10 years of managing her issues for me). Thing is, since I was a kid (I'm in my 40's) all my dogs have been older rescues (1-3 years old) other than a couple older foster puppies (4-6 months old).
2.5 weeks ago I brought home a lifelong dream puppy (a well bred Doberman I can pursue some sports with) to join our little family (my 6 year old rescue Pyr mix, cat, and boyfriend). I thought I was pretty well prepared to bring home a puppy - got all kinds of puppy stuff for puppy play, care, training, containment (lol)....I won't lie, I spent far more money getting ready for puppy than I predicted I would! I mean, I already had a dog, how bad could it be?? Around $1500 bad is what it all ended up being lol (everything from toys to treats to chews to rugs for the hardwood floors to travel stuff to extra leashes, bowls, etc...the list was a lot longer than I thought it would be lol.
Puppy came home, house was ready to go. I was "prepared" for those first couple weeks of regular potty breaks, and accidents, and crate training and all of that.
What I wasn't prepared for were moments of the "puppy blues" and the anxiety of worrying that everything is okay, or they might get something they shouldn't, or....you get the picture. That first evening I was ready to drive back to breeder with puppy in tow - not kidding, I had my phone in my hand to text her that I had made a huge mistake. Thought better of it and decided I needed to give things at least 48 hours, preferably 2 weeks.
The worry is real, and there's so many people ready to jump down anyone's throat if they aren't the perfect person in their mind; there is so much information, and conflicting information, you are constantly second guessing yourself; and then puppies do puppy things and you think you're a horrible puppy parent because you aren't all knowing and perfect 100% of the time...
I was not prepared for that side of things. With my rescues and fosters, if they had some runny poo you'd just follow the proper steps for the obvious (and likely) reasons, add some rice and pumpkin to their food, and 9 times out of 10 they'd be fine. No freaking out, rushing to the vet, or googling things in the middle of the night until you're convinced your puppy is about to keel over. If someone regurgitated some food, or was a little more or less active one day, whatever, as long as it was once or one day, who cared? We all have days that vary. When puppy does that though, then I sit there wondering if there's something wrong, or if we need to rushing to a vet, or if I'm not holding him to a tight enough schedule, or....you get the idea!
So this is just a note to all the new puppy parents. You're not alone, you're not crazy, and chances are, your puppy is just fine. They're dogs, and dogs seem to be doing quite well in our world. Do your best, follow best practices, and realize your puppy is still a dog and just like you, things in their bodies vary a little bit too.
Oh, and my little terrorist is here to stay LOL, he's actually doing great and smart and stubborn and everything I wanted in a working puppy family member - just still a puppy lol.

2.5 weeks ago I brought home a lifelong dream puppy (a well bred Doberman I can pursue some sports with) to join our little family (my 6 year old rescue Pyr mix, cat, and boyfriend). I thought I was pretty well prepared to bring home a puppy - got all kinds of puppy stuff for puppy play, care, training, containment (lol)....I won't lie, I spent far more money getting ready for puppy than I predicted I would! I mean, I already had a dog, how bad could it be?? Around $1500 bad is what it all ended up being lol (everything from toys to treats to chews to rugs for the hardwood floors to travel stuff to extra leashes, bowls, etc...the list was a lot longer than I thought it would be lol.
Puppy came home, house was ready to go. I was "prepared" for those first couple weeks of regular potty breaks, and accidents, and crate training and all of that.
What I wasn't prepared for were moments of the "puppy blues" and the anxiety of worrying that everything is okay, or they might get something they shouldn't, or....you get the picture. That first evening I was ready to drive back to breeder with puppy in tow - not kidding, I had my phone in my hand to text her that I had made a huge mistake. Thought better of it and decided I needed to give things at least 48 hours, preferably 2 weeks.
