So my friend got me into this job that she works at. We were supposed to do a drug test before we started classes but I have serve cramps and it lasted for about 2 weeks due to my birth control. My friend gave me her key so only I can sit in the Caron my breaks. In my training I was told that if we didn’t complete our training that today would be the last day to do so and we needed to get it done out the way. I went to the car and sat in the drivers seat. I was about to text my friend and hen I noticed that her phone was in the car. So I thought well maybe she’s out and will come back for her phone and maybe she’s on her break too and has to use the bathroom . I waited for 30 mins and the place I was going to was a 6-10 min drive from the job. I didn’t want to take long and I realized that maybe she isn’t going to come back. So I left to go get my drug test done. When I got to the place I didn’t have my id and on my way back she calls and text using her coworkers phone and I told her about the situation she said that what I did was wrong and on my way to coming back I told her the situation she gave me a lecture that I should’ve taken it the week before on my other job when I called off. That was hole week I told her I didn’t have money to spend that week and I don’t have a car and I couldn’t even work the whole week because I have been ubering to and from my old job which was 30-40$ for the last 2 weeks and I’m ordering food for us and I have also contributed to filling up her car when she didn’t have any money at the time her job was holding her money and wasn’t getting paid right away. My old job is 15-20mins away and and the drug testing site is 30-45 mins with severe traffic. That’s 30-40$ there in total 60-80$ which I told her I didn’t have money for. So we left it at that but she’s still mad at me because of the gas I said I will fill her gas up and that same day I bought her food which was 26$ and today I asked her this time can I go get some coffee from Starbucks which is a 2 min drive down the street. She yelled at and said that I took her car without permission and she hates when I do that but that was the first time I ever did that. So I got mad and told her not to say that because that’s the first time I did something like that. and now I’m fucked up for that but normally I always ask her permission Everytime I use her car I ask her for what she needs and buy it for her sometimes she pays me back sometimes she doesn’t or I’ll get something for her just because. I wasn’t able to fill up her car right away so I would do it today when I got my drink she gave me her key and complained and I told her she didn’t need to leave her phone in her car because it’s my first day at the job and I needed her and she wasn’t there for me to inform her of anything. After that I just didn’t go anywhere she made me so mad that I never want to ask her for anything again.

I can't recall people (i.e. 2nd gen fans) saying in any volume when the 3rd gen broke through, "their popularity doesn't mean much until they prove it in touring", yet it's a fairly common rebuttal when people bring up 4th gen groups being more popular than 3rd. I remember TVXQ fans would bring it up a bit but that was basically 95% Japan so was played little heed.
Considering general popularity in kpop is fleeting with groups peaking in the first 2/3 years (including a lot of 3rd gen groups), why do we now need to wait for a few years for a decent sized tour to judge them as more popular when popularity is incredibly dynamic and always changing? I can't recall people waiting years until Twice did a decent sized tour to judge them as biggemore popular than SNSD for example.
It just feels very convenient that the 3rd gen groups, who got a massive boost in touring due to Covid-19 and all its impact, now has fans that think touring is the main barometer to judge a groups success and popularity.
Album sales? Inflated by versions and new markets that the 4th gen benefit from, downplayed
Digitals? Everyone knows the public tire of acts quickly so doesn't mean much when comparing against older acts
Touring? Needs a big discography for a decent sized tour, can take years to do i.e. beneficial to older acts who have years building up a discography and their fandom - very important now.
Has anyone else noticed the massively increased focus on touring?

Hi Everyone! Hope all is well on the home buying journey. Currently wondering if there’s a magical feeling you get when you know you’ve found the “one”? I’m currently living in Houston and found a really nice starter home built in 2019 for under $340K. Its has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a office space, decent sized back yard, and in a beautiful community (homes in the community are selling for $400K+). The only reason why I’m hesitating a bit are the property taxes (3.4%) and the fact that I’ve been looking solely at new builds for the past few years of searching and kinda had my mind set on picking everything out in the house myself. The new builds I’m looking into start around $376K-$382K.
I can FOR sure tell the home has been lived in( previous owners didn’t clean before leaving) and it would require fresh paint throughout, new baseboards, a deep clean, new carpet, ceiling fans, work in the back yard (think they may of had a dog), new fencing, and a few new appliances. I’m thinking after everything is done I would have paid about the same price for a new build…however, maybe these things can be negotiated in the sales price?
Is there any advice when it comes to making a decision on which home to buy? New build or prior existing?
I’m thinking to put a offer in so this could just be last minute nerves as well🤦🏽‍♀️ It’s my first place so I don’t want to bite off too much but I really do like it. Happy to provide more details. Thank you!

Asking if anyone has experience with using this vacuum. Our home is small, around 850sqft. It’s LVP throughout with two small low pile area rugs. Is the c1 compact a good unit for this house? How is the capacity of the bags? We like to vacuum a lot. I found the unit on “sale” and I can buy it with CC points I’ve built up. Hello all! Posted a few weeks back for feedback on my trip to Italy and wanted to follow up on lessons learned. We spent 3 days in Sorrento, 2 days in Rome, and 2 days in Venice, with a travel day on either side. Weather was low 70’s to 80 almost every day, and we walked about 7-8 miles each day visiting sites. All packed into a carry on with room to spare for shopping, and used my crossbody as my under seat item on the plane.

• Jeans: packed but never wore. Extremely popular in Rome/Venice though
  
• Rain coat/umbrella: packed but never wore/used. It rained on one tour but they were selling ponchos everywhere and my linen skirt dried extremely fast
  
• Blouses: the fitted tanks looked the best with my wide leg pants/maxi skirts so wish I had brought one more and left one of the blouses behind
  
• Only wore the blue dress and red skirt once each so likely could’ve omitted
  
• White linen tank: honestly forgot it was in my luggage so never wore
  
• Athletic outfit: I wish I had worn something with some recovery on the plane as I was a wrinkly/baggy mess with my linen and cotton items after 19 hours of travel each way
  
• Long sleeve linen shirt was perfect as a casual cover up for many activities, very happy I brought this
  
• Linen was everywhere, so very happy with my linen items and they felt very in sync with what others were wearing. I bought a mini travel iron and it was perfect to run over the major wrinkles from packing before wearing
  
• Cardigan: Floral dress didn’t wrinkle and was perfect to change into for dinners, but wish I had brought the cardigan for a nicer shoulder cover up vs. just using the shawl I brought. Would’ve looked cuter with most outfits too than the blue button down linen blouse
  
• Brought no rinse detergent to wash items between wears if needed and socks/underwear - worked very well but in Sorrento it took 2 days to dry because of the humidity, but I was able to pack just 4 pairs of underwear and 3 socks and wash my pants/tops if they got sweaty
  
• White sneakers: looked cute with many outfits but as I expected became extremely dirty during the Vesuvius hike on day 3
  
• Birkenstocks were amazing - packed flat, could wear for hours, went with many outfits, were very popular with other travelers too
  

Overall pretty happy with what I brought. I tried to balance the advice given to me before and how I know I like to dress. I felt like my outfits were not out of place and in line with many of the other tourists/visitors and I was comfortable in my clothes. Could’ve simplified more so good to know for the next trip! Thanks to everyone who provided feedback last time I posted, I hadn’t traveled in a few years so was very unsure.

I work at a tech startup as a marketing manager and directly report to the CCO. I have had a horrid time finding information internally that I need to create marketing strategies and to generally do my job, that usually leads me down a start up rabbit hole of finding that no one has done something and then I end up taking it on.
The problem with my boss is that literally everything that should fall under his to-do list like a GTM strategy, creating the sales strategy, identifying target markets (basically what’s the plan??), isn’t done. I usually take the approach of, I’m on this team and can roll up my sleeves myself, and end up doing it and then presenting it to him, getting his blessing the end.
But I’m now at a point where I’m at a loss for words. I have been working nights and weekends on our product launch only to find out in the middle of my work that there literally IS no product. The development cycles don’t match the goal posts and everything I’m planning for marketing can’t actually be done.
I brought this up to him and our CTO and they both acted like this was news to them. I asked where was the product roadmap and my entire company is acted like I invented the term and that it sounds like a fun exercise. This product has been in the works over a year! It’s supposed to launch in July 🥵
I pointed out that nothing was ready and my boss made me type him up notes for his executive meeting of all of my points to push the executives to move the timeline.
I feel used and abused and like I’m either very naive or the smartest person in the room.
What would you do? Leave? Confront the team? Other advice?
