NEED 8K URGENTLY
2023.06.06 15:07 first_name_harshit NEED 8K URGENTLY
Hi Delhi, I need a huge favor. I lost my job a few months back and during my first month my friends introduced me to an online credit card which I used responsibly until I was let go due to budget cuts. The credit card had EMIs for the amount I borrow and I paid them back through my savings and other earnings. This month my dad had to go through a surgery to remove a lump from his chest (non cancerous thankfully) due to which me and my family had to use our savings for the procedure and now I've no way to pay back the EMI. I couldn't go to my parents because I don't wanna become an extra financial burden since we don't come from a well to do family and can't afford a loss of 8k out of nowhere and my friends are worse off than me. I've got a job lined up from August so I'll be able to pay back when I get my salary but for three months I've got no earnings and a loan on my head. Please if someone can help me out, I started the delhi pizza party as a way to afford these bills but after two weeks that also died down. Help me please.

2023.06.06 15:06 samokn CareCredit rewards card VS Citi double cashback
Hi!
I'm looking for a credit card that will reward the most cash back for medical bills. I don't worry about the APR because I have no problem paying the full bill. Would I be better off with the CareCredit rewards mastercard, which pays 2x points for every dollar spent, or the Citi cashback card which pays 2%
Sorry if this is a silly question. My math skills aren't the best. Thank you!

2023.06.06 15:05 goldenbabe777 So slow
Ugh the start of the month was pretty good for me but now it’s been really slow these past few days :( it literally makes me feel sick when it gets like this. I’ve been doing this full time 13 months now. It definitely is a lot of added pressure tho knowing I depend on this money to pay for my mortgage and bills. Does the stress of when it gets slow ever stop after you’ve been doing this for awhile? Is it slow for anyone else rn?

2023.06.06 15:04 koola_00 Five Nights at Freddy's Danger at Home Chapter 6: Aftermath
It was only a matter of time before police officers and ambulances arrived.
Freddy had been deactivated prior and was thus taken away by local authorities for examination. However, the entitled woman was taken to the ambulance, her jaw nearly torn off, only barely hanging on.
While Freddy and the women were taken away, Carlton, Jessica, and Marla were checked on by the Chief of Hurricane's Police Department and Carlton's dad, Clay Burke.
"Hm. You really should be careful with what you say to others, Carlton. The worst you'll probably get is a small bruise," he muttered as he gave a small ice pack to Carlton. Carlton nodded.
"Yeah. Though after seeing what Freddy did to that poor Karen (something I'd never thought I'd say), I'd rather have a bruised cheek. I mean, damn; he tore that thing off like a machine ripping apart a watermelon," shivered Carlton. Jessica and Marla, who were nearby, groaned and shivered.
"Well that just was just unnecessary, Carlton," groaned Jessica.
"Yeah, really, man. Jason doesn't need to be reminded of that scene," added Marla as she held Jason close to her while Jason looked quite traumatized by what he had seen. Clay shook his head.
"I never thought I'd be apart of anything related to that damn company again after what happen ten years ago. Speaking of which, where did Freddy come from? Do you know who owns him?" he asked, a look of concern on his face.
The three teens searched for someone before Carlton saw Charlie walking back to them, holding Edward close to her.
"Oh, there's Charlie!" pointed out Carlton. The girls and Clay looked back and smiled in relief before they got up and got to her.
"Charlie! There you are!" Marla greeted. Charlie looked up and replied,
"Oh, hey. Sorry for running off like that. I-I don't know what came over me, I-I was-"
But Jessica placed a hand on her shoulder. Charlie looked at her, seeing a smile on her face.
"It's okay, Charlie. You were just looking out for Edward here. Speaking of which, are you okay, buddy?" she explained before looking at Edward. Edward looked at her and curled himself back, away from her. The three frowned, and Jessica backed away.
"Oh, that's right. You're still scared of me," sighed Jessica.
"Wait, Jessica. Don't-" Charlie began, but Jessica shook her head.
"It's okay, Charlie. I don't want to give him more stress than he already has. It's fine," she assured. Charlie and Marla frowned at this as Clay approached them.
"Ah, Charlie. It's been a while since I last saw you. How are you?" he asked with a small smile. Charlie shrugged.
"I-I could be better. I just…" she said, looking at Edward, who looked up at her. Clay hummed.
"I know. Is he with you?" he asked. Charlie nodded.
"I'm babysitting him while his parents are away in Dubai. Why?" she asked.
"Oh, I see. Well, I just wanted to know who's responsible for bringing that Freddy robot," answered Clay. Charlie frowned as she felt Edward shivering a bit. She gently rubbed his back as she answered,
"It was his parents. They volunteered for the Fazbear Funtime Service. They left by the time Freddy was delivered here."
"Hm. I see. Hey, Charlie, I hate to do this, but do you mind if I ask you a couple of questions regarding how you and Freddy?" he asked. Charlie nodded.
"O-Of course," she said. Clay nodded before looking at Edward.
"Um…without the kid, preferably?" he reminded. Charlie frowned but nodded. She then looked at Marla.
"Hey, can you-" she began, but Marla nodded.
"Of course. Come on, Edward," she cooed as Charlie began to hand him over. Edward whimpered, but Charlie looked at him.
"It's okay, Eddie. I've got to answer some questions, but I promise I won't be far. I'll be back before you know it, okay?" she assured. While unsure, Edward nodded.
"O-Okay," he muttered. Charlie smiled as she ruffled his hair before handing him over to Marla. Edward looked at Charlie, who smiled at him before Clay took her away.
"It's okay, sweet pea. Mr. Burke's a good man; he won't hurt Charlie or any of us," she assured as she sat back down, holding Edward close.
"Yeah, man! Plus, he's my dad, too. So, he couldn't, otherwise, my mom would, uh, kill him," added Carlton with a shrug, chuckling in his attempt to joke around. However, Edward was not in the mood to joke around. He was looking down at the ground. Marla, Jessica, and Carlton frowned while Jason scooted closer, gently taking Edward's left hand and squeezing it tightly. Edward responded by meekly tightening his hold.
"Edward! Edward!"
Edward blinked at a familiar little girl's voice. He looked to his left to see Cassie rushing to them. He watched as Cassie soon got to them.
"Are you okay?" she asked. Edward frowned and looked down.
"I-I don't know, Cassie. I…" he began, but he found himself unable to speak. Marla gently squeezed him in assurance.
"Cassie, sweetie. I-I don't think he's in the mood to talk right now," she insisted. Cassie frowned as she looked down.
"I-I'm sorry. I just wanted to see if he and Jason are okay," she explained. Jason and Edward looked at her, the former giving a smile.
"Well, physically, we're fine. But everything else…I dunno," Jason retorted. Cassie nodded in understanding before Edward lifted his head slightly.
"A-Are you okay?" he asked. Cassie looked at him and nodded.
"Yeah. I'm fine. Just…that was scary," Cassie replied, looking away. Edward nodded in agreement, and the kids remained quiet before Cassie looked at Edward and Jason again.
"I…I've gotta go. But I hope we can see each other again. Especially you, Edward. I like you," she said, smiling softly. Jason and Edward smiled back, and the latter responded by raising his left fist. Cassie giggled and bumped Edward's fist with his own.
"Bye, Cassie," said Edward.
"Yeah. Hope we see you again soon," added Jason.
"I hope so, too. Bye!" Cassie giggled softly before she turned around and sped off. Edward and Jason smiled slightly as they watched her before the former looked down, regressing to his thoughts.
Jessica, Carlton, and Marla watched the whole thing, and they had smiles on their faces.
"Well, I guess this day hasn't been all 'doom-and-gloom'," chuckled Carlton. Jessica nodded as Marla gently rubbed Edward's back.
"Yeah. Lord knows he needs it after what happened," confided Jessica, making Carlton nod in agreement.
Soon, Charlie returned with Chief Burke.
"*sigh* Alright. Now, you guys are good to go. But if you all notice anything, let me know immediately. Understood?" he instructed. The teens nodded in understanding as Marla got up. Edward looked at Charlie and immediately reached for her. Marla noticed and stood up.
"How's everything, Charles?" asked Marla as she handed Edward over to her.
"It's fine. He just asked questions about how Freddy worked, whether he had been acting strange beforehand, and stuff like that," replied Charlie as she took the boy before sighing. She looked at the crowd, who were starting to disperse.
"I should probably head back. This day got really sour and I still need to process everything that happened," she said. The others understood this.
"Yeah. I'm taking Jason back to our hotel for the same reasons," Marla explained as she took Jason's hand.
"I need to distract myself to cope better. Plus, I think mom needs help with housework," reasoned Carlton.
"Me…I'm just gonna walk around. I wish you guys well," finished Jessica as she looked at them with a caring smile. Charlie nodded as Edward looked at her, still unsure about her.
Later, Charlie returned to Edward's house, setting the boy down on the floor. She closed the door and sighed as Edward stepped forward. Then she looked at him.
"Hey, Eddie. How are you feeling, buddy?" she asked. Edward did not turn to look at her. He just looked down at the floor.
"I…I wanna be alone right now. C-Can I stay in your room, please?" Edward asked. Charlie raised a brow momentarily before remembering his room was filled with Freddy-themed merchandise. She nodded and placed a hand on his back.
"Sure. If you need anything, let me know. Okay, honey?" asked Charlie.
"...Mmhmm," went Edward before walking up the stairs, leaving Charlie alone.
"I-I'll be in the living room," she called out.
"Okay…" Edward replied as Charlie sat down. She looked at the spot where Freddy once was and sighed.
Vmm. Vmm. Vmm.
Charlie raised a brow and fished out her phone from her pocket. She then grew exacerbated as she recognized the phone number. Charlie then pressed the number and began talking.
"Good timing for you to call, Vanessa," she began sarcastically.
"I am SO sorry for not answering. I-I've been so busy with work that I never got the time to answer," Vanessa's voice emitted from the phone, sounding rather desperate and apologetic.
"Hm. What could possibly have been going on at work to make it more important than what's happening with the damn robots?!" asked Charlie.
"Ugh, look, it doesn't matter; I'm here now and can help with whatever you have. I've got your voicemail, and it mentions Freddy being able to move when it's not supposed to. Right?" asked Vanessa. While she was talking, Charlie was taking deep breaths to calm herself. When she was finished, Charlie nodded and gulped.
"Yes, that's correct. What's with that?" she asked. After a brief pause, Vanessa replied,
"Oh no," she began before Charlie heard incoherent mumbling as Vanessa seemed to have moved away from the phone. She had an eyebrow raised, wondering what Vanessa meant by that.
When Vanessa returned, she asked,
"Have you turned on the Controlled Shock feature while Freddy was deactivated?"
"E-E…Emergency mode?" asked Charlie.
"Yes. I told you that there's a button for the feature in Freddy's endoskeleton and that by turning on, you can use the Fazbear Funtime Service app to shock the robot into temporarily shutting down and forcing a reboot," explained Vanessa. Charlie blinked in confusion.
"Y-You never told me this," she reasoned.
"Yes. I did! Back when I first brought him here. Were you not paying attention?!" berated Vanessa.
Charlie's eyes widened as she realized; back when Vanessa first brought Freddy here yesterday, she explained how the animatronic worked. But she was so focused on Freddy being at the house…
"Shit," went Charlie as she ran her hand through her hair.
"Charlie. Did something else happen today with Freddy?" asked Vanessa. Charlie gulped and explained. When she was done, Charlie could hear a thumping sound, making her flinch her head back.
"Um, hello?" she asked. There was a shuffling sound before Vanessa replied,
"HOW COULD YOU LET THAT HAPPEN?! YOU SHOULD'VE PAID MORE ATTENTION TO MY INSTRUCTIONS!"
"I know. I know. I'm sorry. I just," Charlie went as she began to panic, wishing her friends were here.
"That woman may be an entitled bitch, but…ugh!" went Vanessa before the line went quiet for what felt like forever. Charlie winced as she looked at the ground, contemplating the stupidity of her not paying attention and how it cost her.
"Vanessa. I'm very sorry. I-" she began before,
"I know. It's not ENTIRELY your fault. The programmers at the company had spent half a year ensuring everything was alright. We had a problem with a virus a year or two ago, and we had it solved. But the animatronics do show signs of their 'quirkiness' for a lack of a better word, and we installed that feature in just to be safe," confided Vanessa. Charlie blinked in confusion.
"Yo-You've had this problem before?" asked Charlie.
"I-I can't elaborate more. Classified info, and I'm already risking my job by telling you. But yeah," Vanessa elaborated.
"Oh," went Charlie as she placed a hand on her forehead. After another short pause, Vanessa asked,
"You said Freddy's in custody already?"
"Yeah. Why?" replied Charlie.
"*sigh* I'm sure the company's gonna do everything in their power to retrieve it. Listen, just…just stay away from Freddy. With what you've told me, anything can…" began Vanessa before there was another pause.
"Uh, h-hello? Vanessa, are you there?" asked Charlie, straightening herself up as she grew concerned. After a brief period, Vanessa finally replied,
"Sorry. I spilled something on the desk; I have to clean it up. I hope you and Edward take care of yourselves."
"Uh, what? But you said something about staying away-" began Charlie.
"Forget I said that. Freddy's locked up; that's all that matters now. Just…take care of yourself and the little guy. Okay?" interrupted Vanessa. Charlie paused and grew unsure. But she nodded.
"A-Alright. Take care, and I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention," Charlie said. But Vanessa did not respond. She hung up while she was talking. With a sigh, Charlie placed the phone on the sofa and covered her face. Her hands then quivered as she began to whimper.
Shit, shit, shit…what have I done? Charlie thought as she sat by herself, sniffling.
Later, Charlie walked over to her guest room, knocked on the door, and went inside.
"Hey, Edward? Edward?" asked Charlie as she looked into the room, realizing that Edward's nowhere to be found. Her brief moment of alarm was, thankfully, diffused when she heard from beneath the bed,
"I'm here."
Charlie sighed in relief and went down on all fours to look underneath the bed. Edward was back facing her as he curled up in a ball. Charlie winced at him doing this as a memory from ten years ago came back into her mind when she remembered Sammy being so upset that…
I've GOT to stop thinking about Sammy, she thought to herself as Charlie reached forward.
"Come out of there, buddy. It's not comfortable," she instructed.
"But I wanna stay here. I'm playing pretend," replied Edward.
"Pretend? What are you pretending to be, or do?" persisted Charlie as she tilted her head in confusion. Edward did not reply. Charlie remained confused before she remembered the playground. She hummed as she sat down, back pressed against the bed.
"You know, Eddie. There's another way you can pretend you're in a safe space. More comfortable," she said.
"W-What?" answered Edward. Charlie hummed as she thought of an idea. She then looked down.
"If you come out, I'll show you," she insisted. There was silence for a moment before Edward could be heard shuffling. Soon, he slugged out and looked up at Charlie. Charlie smiled as she soon stood up and undid the cover of her bed. She looked at her and gestured to the bed. Edward looked confused, but he complied and crawled into it. Charlie took off her boots as she followed him, enveloping themselves in the cover.
"See? Comfortable, isn't it?" she asked with an assuring smile. Edward looked around, inspecting the surroundings. Then, he looked at Charlie.
"It's like being in a tent in a forest or jungle," mused Edward, and Charlie could see a faint glimpse of something in Edward's eyes. Something positive, it seemed. Smiling, she scooted closer to Edward, and that was when Edward looked at her.
"Miss Charlie?" he asked.
"Hm?" she asked.
"I…I'm sorry,"
Charlie blinked in confusion.
"For what?" she asked.
"You…you were right about Freddy. You said he made you uncomfortable. I let him inside. It's…It's…" whimpered Edward. Charlie frowned as she scooted closer and placed a hand on his cheek.
"Edward, no. Don't blame yourself for this. I-I'm the one who's at fault," she said. Edward looked at her, and Charlie continued,
"When Miss Vanessa brought him inside, she mentioned a feature inside that would stop Freddy from acting violent, as they had problems with that before. B-But I wasn't paying attention, and that's how you almost died, and that woman might never talk again. So the blame's on me. Okay?"
She cupped their hands together as she explained, her voice quivering as she held in tears. Edward looked at her, stunned by what she said. Charlie stared at him, holding in her cries. Then, Edward responded by tightening his hold on her hands affectionately.
"You were scared of Freddy," he explained. Charlie shook her head.
"That's no excuse. I…I needed to be more responsible. And starting now, I'm gonna do my best to be better," she explained. Edward looked at her, seeing the determined look on her face, before scooting forward.
"Miss Charlie. Promise me you won't leave me. C-Cassidy's hardly around, and Freddy…" he paused, looking down sadly. Charlie gently picked him up and placed him on her legs.
"Honey, put your ears on my chest. I want you to listen to something," she instructed. Edward did so, and he heard a rhythmic beating inside. He blinked as he gave a soft smile.
"I heard this before when mommy hugged me. She says it's something called uh…hmm…I forgot," he mumbled.
"It's called a heartbeat, Eddie. And you wanna know something important about it?" went Charlie. Edward looked up as he listened to the heartbeat.
"I don't know anything about a 'Cassidy,' and Freddy…well, that Freddy's a machine. But when you listen to this heartbeat…as long as you hear this heartbeat, I won't leave you. You can trust me," she explained as she held him close, gently rocking him sideways. She then looked down to see Edward looking at her with a hopeful smile, which warmed her heart. Charlie held him close, and Edward leaned into her body.
After a moment of silence, Edward looked up at her and smiled.
"You're the best, Charlie. Oh, I mean Miss," he stuttered, but Charlie placed a thumb on his lip.
"It's okay. If it makes you more comfortable, then you can drop the 'Miss.' I don't mind," she assured. Edward smiled and nodded before looking away.
"You're nice. You and your friends…including Miss Jessica," he replied with a slight frown. Charlie nodded.
"Actually, I've been meaning to talk to you about Jessica. She told me about what you told her and the others. Is it true that you're scared of her because of what your father said?" she asked.
"Mmhm. But after seeing how she was earlier, I…I don't know now," Edward admitted.
"Uh-huh. Well, Edward, I want you to know; while Jessica may have been a brat when she was little, she's an amazing person now. I've followed her online, and she's one of the sweetest, smartest, and most selfless friends I've ever had. She's also forgiving (mainly to those whom she feels deserves it), so the next time you see her, please give her a chance. Can you do that?" explained Charlie with a pleading smile.
Edward looked down and rubbed his nose.
"Will she let me? Can I still be friends with her?" he asked, unsure.
"Of course, baby. I trust her and my other friends, so I'm sure you can, too," replied Charlie as she gently booped him in the nose, making Edward giggle. Charlie laughed as well as she then asked,
"Are you feeling better now? Do you wanna come out of the tent?"
Edward nodded. Charlie smiled as she removed the cover, exposing them to the sunlight and making Edward wince briefly.
"Can we watch cartoons?" he asked.
"Of course. I think I have something in my mind that you're gonna LOVE!" Charlie said as she picked him up and walked out of the room.
For Charlie and Edward, this was a period of calm that they deserved. But they do not know of the storm coming their way…
AN: Hey, everyone!
Another chapter of this story is out of the way. It's a bit of a slow burner, but I promise; the next one will definitely pick up! Also, I made a change in this and the last chapter regarding one of the characters to accommodate the release of the Ruin gameplay trailer.
Speaking of which, we ate GOOD last month with the trailers for the FNAF movie, the Ruin gameplay trailer, and Help Wanted 2. Not to mention Scott's birthday yesterday (at the time of my writing this (Happy Belated Birthday, Scott!)), so this year has been good for FNAF. Looking forward to all of these future games!
Also, the lore reveals with the recent TFPP books…good thing I'm not too deep into this and my SB fanfics, so I can still adjust to them! Hehehe…
Well, anyway…that's all I've got to say! Hope you enjoy it, leave any respectful and constructive criticisms if you have any, and stick around for more!

2023.06.06 15:02 elsieburgers Awful families
Was out eating with a friend yesterday at a nationally owned US chain, our server was really sweet and accommodating and was the server for the table next to us to. They called her over a million times for random stuff, and then when it was time to pay "there was a little rust on the skillet" still took all their leftovers to go and their bill was entirely comped so she didn't get a tip. I hate people

2023.06.06 14:59 vapeboy1996 My company makes guys drive without CDLs, but also offered to pay for my schooling. Not sure what to do
I’ve been in the industry a few years now. I tried residential carpentry and hated it, drove a F550 dump body for a lumber company and loved it but the money wasn’t there, then I got into rigging 3 years ago and love it. I was at a non union heavy haul and rigging company out of Boston. Awesome equipment and a lot of skill but we got 40 hours that’s it, no overtime available, terrible benefits and I could see how miserable the lifers there were. I started at $26/he and after 2 years I was at $35/hr. I got my 1C and 2A hoisting licenses while there and was going to get my class A but they made that law that you have to go to school for it. $10k for school near me and they offered to pay but I’d have to sign a 3 year contract.
I left 6 months ago to go to a Local 4 crane company in Boston. They told me they’d get me into the operating engineers union after like half a year (a lot of guys get in them quit I get it) and I’d be trained to eventually run cranes and get my class a. The money is good, $35/ but double time overtime and I average 60 hours a week and have good health insurance even before being in the union. They knew I didn’t have my CDL yet and that didn’t seem like an issue. A few months ago the owner wanted me to drive the 36,000 pound ramp truck with a Lull on the back over an hour all highway and I refused. He got mad saying we can’t have riggers without their licenses (I’m one of 3 without a CDL) but he knew this when he hired me 3 months prior to this. However he did follow up with saying he will pay my whole school fee for me to get my license.
I found out one of the other guys without a CDL has been driving that ramp truck with loads lately and it’s making me nervous. Do I want to sign on to a company that would be willing to let non CDL drivers drive their trucks? Even if I refuse and go to school what else would they have me do? It’s tough because otherwise they’ve been good to me and everyone here, getting into local 4 would be amazing (some crane guys recently retired at $260k /year), and I’ve never been this caught up on bills and payments.
What would you guys do with this situation? I’ve looked into a few other crane companies. 2 of them wanted to hire me but they’re even further south then my current company and I’m on the north side, and then the one near me he’s friends with the owner and fired a kid who applied there. Nothing else around here pays anywhere close to what I make.

2023.06.06 14:56 ConsiderationLess848 Need a surgery and a new job
A few months ago I was diagnosed with having precancerous cells in my breast. (I forget the official term). My options are to have a surgery that removes the area of sick cells and get on a 5 year drug regimen and alternate between a mammogram and MRI every 6 months as to catch it early if it changes to cancerous cells. Or, my oncologist says I am a candidate for a double mastectonmy. I would like to have the masectomy so I don't have to be chained to a job just to keep insurance for the rest of my life. Plus, I can't afford the MRI or mammogram which isn't covered by my insurance until I meet my deductible. Back story: I have built an off-grid tiny house in a very small rural town and job options are very limited. I own my property and house outright and have no utilities to pay. I did have to take out a $15,000 loan to finish the house. I also have a car payment. I live with my girlfriend who is also having a hard time finding steady, decent paying work. She is a chef and is just barely scraping by doing personal chef gigs where she can find them. She has a lot of debt so all of the money she makes goes to her credit card bills. I am currently employed in the behavioral health field making $15/hr. I like my job but I am having problems with my manager and she is making it a dangerous place to work. I want to leave this job eventually no matter what. I have a high deductible insurance plan ($3000). Needless to say, I haven't been able to afford to pay most of the medical bills I have incurred thus far and I haven't even had the surgery yet. We are struggling financially. The plan is to schedule the surgery for early September because my partner has a 3 week personal chef gig the end of August where she will make at least $2000 and that can float us through the 6 weeks I may need to take off work for recovery.
My question: I just had an interview to move to a higher paying position within the company ($18/hr). It's full-time and I would be able to keep my accrued PTO (1 week) and my shitty insurance plan. It looks like I may get the position if I want it. The problem is that it is will require months of training and I will be given a case load of people that I have to serve. There are only 2 people who hold this position in this town. Currently 1 is quiting so they are hiring her replacement. So, do I take the job and not tell them that I am going to need 6 weeks off soon and hope that FMLA protects my job? (Also, i feel like this is a shitty thing to do) Or do I let them know about it up front? Or do I stay at my $15/hr position, get the surgery and hope that the better paying position opens up again soon after I am healed? I feel conflicted. The $18/hr will lessen our financial stress considerably but I don't want to be a dick and leave the clients to possibly fall through the cracks of our mental healthcare system.

2023.06.06 14:54 MasterHavik Chicago Karen decided to almost commit a crime
Yesterday I had an experience that can be describe as idiotically dangerous. So, I am going home from work after what I would call a pretty smooth day of no yelling or stress.
I get on the train and this woman in a green shirt and glasses got mad at me for sitting close to her and lightly bumping her by mistake. I'm in the wrong so I give her space and say sorry. Nothing happens for the ride but realize I had the urge to pee. I knew there was a Wendy's on the way home. I get off and go to it.
The same woman from before was chatting on her phone to her friend I suppose. She talked about me to her friend on the train. I pay it no mind but when we got outside. She oddly got defensive and accuse me of following her. She stops and tried to follow me saying she wants to call the cops. She also said I lightly bump her again when I didn't this time. The real stupidity from this person though was stopping and following me though acting like I was some creep. She called me one to boot.
I couldn't have this person following me. I try telling her where I'm going to get her off my back. She doesn't listen. I decide to fake record her to get her to move. I got her to move and I decided to celebrate with a little bit of singing of "Na Na hey hey good bye." Yes I was doing a little bit of taunting and trolling here. I'll admit that. Now, I get to the intersection that is super busy. Getting ready to cross as this woman decided to go into her bag and get some type of mace or pepper spray. I don't know what it is. This is where she become so dumb it's laughable. She announced to me what she is doing. I make a joke of it but she starts to approach me while screaming, "Get back! Get back!" I legit have to talk her down to prevent from committing assault and possibly an accident. Even some old white dude saw this and stopped to watch her. I even call out to her to stop and tell her someone is watching her commit a possible crime.
Thankfully nothing happens and I can cross the street safely. The funniest part of this story is that I start to turn into the Wendy's after she keeps saying I'm following her. I say, "You fucking idiot! I was going to the Wendy's this whole time. You're a fucking moron!" She goes silent realizing she fucked up. I go in and use the bathroom telling the story to the some of the staff and security guard as they saw some of it. One of them was coming from break actually even. I was told by them I should have reported her. I wish I did but I wasn't thinking in the moment. I'm just happy to be safe.
(Sharing this with you guys after I posted it on Facebook. This was a pretty insane encounter. Even my mom was floored by what this person was trying to do. She looked around my age too.)

2023.06.06 14:52 Staticfair Offering free custom book covers!
Hey writers! I’m currently trying to shift careers a bit (I love writing, but it’s not paying my bills at the moment) and am trying to build up my art portfolio. However, I much prefer working on actual projects rather than premades and mockups. Because of this, I’d love to offer a handful of free custom book covers to the community here!
My style is very reminiscent of vintage book covers, usually with minimal color palettes and foiled elements. I hand draw everything on my iPad. I love working on designs with unique symbolism or beautiful flowing designs. It might not work for every genre, but hey, it’s free and fun!
I’ll take on as many custom covers as I can! Leave a comment if your interested and I’ll DM you for info (what text you’d want, symbolism, general color palette, etc)
Thanks!

2023.06.06 14:51 Most_Butterfly4886 Shadow pc was terminated but was STILL billed
I just lost my shadow pc after I was billed. My card was in my account and I should have been billed on time. But it kept declining, I had sufficient funds in that card. So I submitted a ticket to the support team asking why this was happening (I already checked the help center). They did not answer in time and I lost my shadow pc. My account is not terminated though. And I was still billed for the $45. My card was declined only when I tried to pay for my shadow pc, and for some reason, there were another 3 times I was billed for $1 each. The card only went through after my account was terminated. I either want my shadow pc back, or I want a refund (Including the 3 times I was billed for $1 for seemingly no reason)

2023.06.06 14:50 Dependent-Disk5894 [Landlord USA -MA] Tenant couple broke up, 1.5 months rent pending
[Landlord USA -MA] Hi. We rented our condo unit to a couple (not married) with a 5 year old kid since November 2022. Sadly they never paid rent on time but they tried to pay off by end of each month. Last 2 months they couldn’t pay fully and they owe us 1.5 months rent now. Both of them on lease and when I texted them for rent boyfriend told me she left him without paying any bills. The girlfriend is not responding to my texts. Is there any quick ways for me to evict in this situation? Or is it still the regular process of giving notice and filing in court then wait for hearing?

2023.06.06 14:50 oliviasmommy2019 REQUEST - Help with gas
Hey everyone. I don't like doing this, but I'm kind of in a bind - so whoever can help, thank you. If you can't, thanks for even being here. I had just enough money put aside for living expenses until my next paycheck on the 15th of June, but my dog became suddenly sick this past weekend. He has a bladder infection and possibly bladder stones. We're watching him carefully and praying he continues to urinate, because if not, he'll need surgery that we can't afford. The vet bill for the checkup and antibiotics and pain meds was over $400 on Saturday, and that literally drained my money for gas and some food the next couple of weeks until pay day. Thankfully, a friend of mine has food stamps and has helped with some food, but I'm really scrounging for a few extra bucks for gas this week. I need my car to get my daughter to daycare and get to work, so anything helps. I have venmo, zelle, or paypal if you can help.

2023.06.06 14:47 IncognitoRhino_ The Best Strategy to Paying Credit Cards
I’ve been doing a lot of research on the best way to pay credit card bills each month, and it seems that the answer varies depending on your situation. I’d really like to clear this up, not only for myself, but for newcomers who stumble upon this thread.
Here’s what I know based off of what I’ve read:
- If you regularly find yourself over 30% utilization, or you’re trying to bolster your credit score, you should pay your statement balance down to <10% before the statement close date. The rest is to be paid before the due date.
- The universal rule is, pay your full statement balance before the due date printed on your statement.
Is there truth to the first bullet point? Is this a good strategy for people who are trying to build credit quickly?
Second bullet point: Can you stretch your payment all the way out to the due date? Or is it best to pay earlier on? For example, paying the day after the statement close date.
What is the consensus on the 15 / 3 rule?
Thanks in advance; I appreciate any and all discussion!

2023.06.06 14:43 Hadronyx Maintaining a pizza place is getting harder from day to day...
It's been year 7 now since I opened my Pizza Place in a small city with ~30.000 people.
It's one of 16 other places that also sell pizza/burgers etc.
In my current position, I have to take care of my family (mother, father, 2 sisters in one apartment, me and my wife in another).
Both me & my wife and parents are the only ones working there. We've reached a point where a lot of people don't want to work in food service anymore. Especially pizza bakers. Even if - I couldn't afford it.
My wife takes the orders, my father makes the pizzas and my mom takes care of the kitchen. I'm responsible for delivering the orders, advertisement and accounting. My parents are already old and won't get any younger.
Groceries are getting more expensive to buy, our rent and electricity skyrocketed this year (there are no other free places to rent in our city). For example: Rent was already expensive, went from 1800€ to 2400€. Electricity went from 800€ to 3500€. Social insurance went from 1400€ every 3 month to 4800€ thanks to recalculations and so.
Basically - My sales volume is around 200K a year & my profit is around 1800€ a month. I took 3 necessary Credits which are still running.
I made the mistake to use Lieferando/Just Eat Takeaway from the beginning. Now people are so used to it, I once switched it off and our customers who ordered every third day started to order from other places because they thought we were gone.
To them alone I paid 25.000€ Last year. They take around 15% of every order someone makes.
I took the initiative and built my own website to order from (even apps) but they still refuse to buy from there (even though we got cheaper prices there).
I'm starting to feel all fuzzy in my head. I'm working +85 hours a week for the last 7 years. I only have couple days off and can't even remember the last time I went to vacation. And besides from can't taking a break from paying bills, I can't even afford getting sick.
What advise do you have for me? I appreciate everyone reading and understanding my cry for help.

2023.06.06 14:40 Habit_Muted Landlord hasn’t updated us on water bill. Roommates are telling me to ignore it
[US - PA] please forgive me if i include wrong information. I have historically been a responsible tenant, even in many sketchy living situations. All of us pay rent and bills on time. Water is not the bill I’m in charge of so I’m just confused about the situation
I live in a great place right now.
The only issue is that no one has paid the water bill. Hypothetically, say I took a peek at our landlords bill and saw that it is an outstanding bill of $1000+….
Before I moved in, the property manager treated the floors as different units, and was in charge of utilities. He then shifted the utilities to us (including water, on the lease). My roommate was not able to transfer the water bill, as the owner (who is in another country), has been unresponsive in transferring the account. There was also an unpaid amount from former tenants that the property manager didn’t address. I’m a little confused that my roommate wasn’t able to sort this out, but according to her, she can’t access the water bill. The property manager has been informed multiple times and I’ve seen the emails. He’s an idiot, and hasn’t tried anything to sort this out either
Our water has not been shut off, since some roommates qualify as low income, and there is a shutoff moratorium. But I’ve been worried sick that our water will get shut off, and we’ll be saddled with a huge bill from various tenants that are long gone. My roommates have told me that it’s his problem, and I bet he thinks it’s our problem. They’ve told me not to bother him about it, because “we have in writing that he knows we aren’t able to pay. Plus, he’s renting illegally so he can’t evict us.” This seems crazy to me, as at least a few of us want to stay for a few years. I don’t want to go against all my roommates, who are generally responsible adults/tenants, or for them to get saddled with a water bill esp since we’ve had subletters and tenants in and out.
Should I go against my roommates and pester my landlord to figure this out, or retake over the water bill and charge us ? (Even though it means he could basically charge us for what former tenants owe)
A $1000 bill divided between 5~ish people is shitty but manageable. What is not manageable is a water shutoff (we have month to month subletters), or having to split a $2000 bill with 3 people (if the tenants that are moving refuse to pay). And if the house is being rented illegally, we basically have no rights.

2023.06.06 14:38 Buzansbuttcheese PARTNERSHIP ADVICE
Hello all,
I want to start with a little background on myself. I am a semi new multi business owner in the automotive sector and I didnt have much growing up. I worked and worked until I was confident enough to leave my salary job and start my own endeavor.
Through skill, patience, and tons of sacrifice, my first business grew exponentially and gave me enough capital to open another business doing commercial automotive contracting.
Not long after I established that, Covid came and almost wiped me out, but instead of giving up, I made sure to keep all of my staff even with little to no revenue coming in.
By doing that, My staff really kicked it into overdrive and kicked enough ass that I was able to open another location doing high performance automotive work in a very high traffic area.
That shop and the commercial shop started creating a great revenue stream as well as attracted a good amount of very high end clientele.
with my reputation starting to build, I was on the hunt for my next move and there is a local building I have always wanted that I noticed went up for rent so I stopped by one day and ended up meeting a guy who had beat me to the punch.
We had a long conversation about what his plans were with the building and he informed me that he didnt really have any, that it was his grandparents building and he is unsure of what to do.
I threw the offer "if you ever want to go into the auto business, We can potentially revamp this place together"
A month goes by and I get the call.
He agrees he would like my help and to do a 50/50 partnership. So, I bring some of my staff and we renovate the building in 10 days and I open the bank accounts, do state paperwork, ETC.
We soft opened the first week of april and through my reputation and client base, Our first month was in excess of $30k and we have a log of appointments.
Now, This is where things get hairy and I am posting in here for advice on.
This partner and I agreed that will only take profits every two weeks if we can.
The first week was so strong that he decided to pull, and this has repeated every single week since then but what makes it worse is that I have not pulled anything and he watches over the bank accounts like a hawk and any time I pay a bill, I get questioned.
I am doing 96% of the work and now to make matters worse, His grandparents (the landlords) are getting involved in the business because he is going next door (they live directly next door) and giving them access to our bank accounts and legal documents.
They have started to dislike me for absolutely no reason. Every time they come outside I am working whether it be on the building or on a vehicle, while he is sitting inside on the couch. I have several supercars that I brought over to show the neighborhood we work on them as well as a little eye candy for the main road.
I am at an impasse. We have gotten noise complaint of reckless driving through the city and 90%of them are him leaving maad for something. I went to a town hall forum last night and spoke on our behalf as we are new to the area and while all of us went, after the meeting adjourned, I spent the time to meet everyone and individually address concerns, while he stood outside with my staff. Our staff urged him to come inside and listen and be by my side but he wouldnt.
I dont know how to get out of this partnership or make it better without getting nasty.
I am looking for solid advice on what to do.
I have a huge heart and actively like to fix issues.

2023.06.06 14:36 nvdrzmm Did you change the way you bank post-mortgage?
FHB, just went unconditional yesterday (phew). 474k loan for PPOR. I’ll have both a redraw and offset.
Those who have a mortgage, did you ditch your prior banks to stick with just the lender?
I’ve been wanting to consolidate anyway. Currently with: - CBA, seemed standard when I first moved here, what all my friends use etc. My pay goes into this, then I’d move funds to: - Westpac for my deposit. The super saver for under 30yo was the best at the time. - Up Bank for all else due to zero fees for endless accounts + so user friendly. I have very few direct debits. I automate payment to my 20+ buckets first and pay bills manually. Not weird hopefully - just your typical millennial with ADHD who needs help organising things.
For a while I’ve been thinking of keeping Up, scrapping the other 2 for a better saver (eg BOQ was most competitive last I checked?)
But should I ditch them all and keep everything in new offset? Just get better at managing without my crux of visual aid? I won’t be making extra repayments for a while. Lender is Bank of Melbourne.
Any ideas or anecdotes welcome!

2023.06.06 14:36 AdventurousWave9480 [USA][TECH][9] Looking for BIZ co-founder for bill management platform.
Hello cofounder's!
BillSlice is an online platform that simplifies shared monthly bills between friends and family. BillSlice does this by offering bill splitting between 2-10 people, automatic notifications, in-app payments/auto-pay, and easy payment tracking. The web app is currently in beta and I am beginning to search for my first 100 users as well as a BIZ cofounder.
There are many bill splitting apps out there, but none that are built for managing recurring bills. The best way I can describe it is, if you have a one time payment use Venmo, if you are on a group trip, use Splitwise, and if you have monthly bills with other people, use BillSlice.
I'm looking for a non-technical co-founder that can compliment my technical skills and can take on some of the duties that have been taking me away from working on the product. I am looking for someone that has a marketing, business development, or operations background. This person, above all, should have the passion to create a startup and the time commitment available.
If you are interested in this idea and want to chat, DM me.
Looking forward to meeting you!
