She rarely rests and waits until the last minute to take vacation time. I however am an elementary teacher, and my lifestyle is a lot different. Our benefits and paid time off is way different.
Teaching (as many of you may know) can consume your entire life if you let it. So itās important to take time to yourself and stay grounded so you donāt start hating your job/career. Unfortunately, I still live with my mom because it is far too expensive to move out in my area right now. Iām focused on paying my education off (masters degree.) I got a long, unexpected text from mom while she was working yesterday basically demanding that I have a summer job set up right away. In her words, she doesnāt want me around the house at all. Doesnāt want to see me or hear from me. Restaurant, book store, Uber, whatever, Iām just not allowed to be home for some reason.
My coworking teacher friends think that is quite funny, none of them work the summers (for an obvious reason, burnout has been real the last few years.) we are entitled to our time off, because itās another boatload of exhausting work our way starting in august. I have been working on trying to find ANY information possible on replacing a crankshaft positioning sensor on my 2015 VW Passat Highline TDI 2.0L. I can't find a video or answer or diagram ANYWHERE and it has been extremely annoying and have been wasting a-lot of time.
I have removed the cooling hoses in the front, and the intake now I am at the thermostat housing above the oil canister housing/oil cooler as well, and cannot figure out the connections of the pipes on the thermostat housing. One of them is the spring clip clamp and the the pipe to the housing looks like some sort of twist-lock thing... thats the best way I can describe it.
The part number for the thermo housing is 04L.121.111.

So a few years back my friend was talking to this really cute girl. At the time i had my own thing going with another girl. A few months pass, my situation with the girl i had been talking to just didnt work out and we just stopped talking all together. At the same time my friend and the girl he was talking to were slowly starting to stop as well, they werent on bad terms or anything they just werenāt clicking together. I was friends with her through mutual friend groups and over the course of time we got closer, friendship at first and then it started to move towards flirting and some physical stuff at bars and clubs we would go to. By that time they were barely talking to each other and i just kinda went with the flow, not actively pursuing anything with her. Well one night our friend group decided to have a house party but a little more calmer, like a kick back. I had some shots (on an empty stomach, yeah i know SMH) and got decently drunk, nothing crazy. I had driven to the kick back so she lived really close (like walking distance) and offered me to spend the night. Well we get back to her place and we end up fucking and i spend the night. So this is the part of the story that has its twist and i need some advice on lol. Well the girl and i work in the same building and the next work day she tells another one of my female friends that it was good and that i had a bigger dick than my guy friend she was talking to. Well my female friend tells me that and i just covered my ears and didnt wanna hear it, just didnt care for it, TMI, i could give a shit. Well my female friend keeps going and says that the girl said that my guy friend has a really small dick, like it was small. I covered my ears again and told her its TMI, none of my bussines. So its been a few years now and my question is should i tell him? In all honesty i heard the same thing from another girl he had messed with. Should i just take it to my grave?

Fathers day is coming up. My wife and I had our first baby in January of this year, so its my first fathers day. I was told by my wife that she would be having a family friend, and her side of the family over to the house that day instead of spending time with me... Sad thing is when she asked me what I wanted to do for fathers day a week or two before I heard of these plans, I told her all I wanted was to spend time with her and my son, and maybe go get lobster (we live in Maine so no shocker there) or a good steak somewhere. When she approached me last night while we were watching tv, she apparently "felt bad" but received a phone call from a family member right after she said that confirming the get together at our house on the 18th. Mothers day, I sent her packing to get a luxury massage, pedicure and a $200 Italian dinner. I had the baby All day long (which DID NOT hurt my feelings any lol) to give her a break so she could fully relax and enjoy. Am I being a total dickhead for being kind of upset over this? What should I do, if anything, about it?

I don't have anyone else to ask for advice, so before making any decision, I'd like to hear from you about what is the most challenging for you in being a PM. What should I be prepared for?

I donāt know if this is the right place to ask.
The house next door to us is a rental. Joined to our walls and the neighbour the opposite sides wall also.
The landlord and landlady are utter assholes. Weāve had over the last 15+ years a drunken guy shouting yelling daily, two 21 year olds who insisted they needed loud music and tv to sleep, year after them old lady who had music and tv playing ALL DAY LONG I am not kidding , loudly enough yiu heard the words, her autistic grandson would get dumped there and he would meltdown for six hours straight screaming crying with her ignoring him ( I am also autistic so this hurt me both sensory and emotionally knowing his distress of meltdowns)
I Ended up so distressed on a daily basis that I developed gastritis, ran away from the home multiple times and even begged to die because of constant sensory overload.
She left, new neighbour, moved in October time. Who is now banging in there every week, multiple days a week loudly. Itās rented so heās not working on the property, thereās a big garden space he could use for working in seeing as thereās not a garage for the house where it wouldnāt echo around our entire bloody house.
Iām autistic really really struggle with noise but this is very very loud banging as in Iāve tried wearing earplugs and headphones over the top, I even have to do so to sleep nighttime and still get woken early by him some days. I have chronic illness too so I need sleep in the day and Iām trying to run my own shop from home too.
Would you say itās reasonable to expect the work done outside ? The walls of these houses are very thin also not like proper thick walls which makes it worse.
Iāve just truly had enough. The worst part is the landlord KNOWS my noise struggles because they had the audacity to come knock and insist were the problem for them losing money to search for a new tennant when they let anyone stay there as long as theyāre earning money.

I just got the email to schedule my Pre-OP appointment @Lackland so Iām going to do that Friday. Was told itās a 3-4 appointment. What are some things I should know heading into that appointment? Iāve been told this appointment basically qualifies you for the surgery and or disqualifies you. Really hoping I donāt get disqualified I might this surgery pretty bad. Also does anyone have info on the Fischer house and how the process goes to getting a room? Iāve heard itās completely free. Thanks in advance friends!!!

I just bought a house and want to move out of my rental home at the end of June (this month). I signed a yearly lease in 2019 for this rental home that stipulated it is a yearly lease and will turn into a month to month lease when the year is up.
My landlord was supposed to renew the lease in writing but I guess just dropped the ball and is now saying we had a verbal agreement to renew the yearly lease. They want me to pay out rent through July to cover the verbal agreement with the yearly lease ending in July.
I did text my landlord that I wanted to renew but I never received a new lease to sign.
Am I obligated to pay my landlord through the end of July per a verbal agreement OR does the original signed lease, stipulating that I am a month to month renter after the first year hold up. I am in NC. In NC a tenant on a month to month lease must give 7 days notice of move outā¦ I have let them know I am moving out but they still want July rent and claim we are on a verbal agreement.

Been looking for a few months. Lost a couple of houses. This one we liked and asked our realtor to contact seller agent. Realtor reached out by leaving text message and voicemail. But seller agent is not responding. Itās been more than 48 hours. Our realtor says we shouldnāt ping again as that will show eagerness and we will loose negotiating powers. But most houses in the area we are looking goes from āsaleā to āpendingā in less than 4 days. Any suggestions? Donāt want to loose this house.

hi :) iām an incoming freshman thatās really having doubts about davis and could use some guidance/ advice on if anyone has ever felt this way. (iāve already committed, and gotten approved for housing just havenāt filled out my roommate form yet) ever since i visited and committed to davis i felt like it was never really the school for me, and only did so because everyone in my life told me it was the best option iāve got. i always wanted to go to a school with a setting like SC but thought that davis had a pretty good amount of nature, only thing is the lack of the beach but anyways, for background iām from LA, did pretty well in school but didnāt really learn too much as iāve slacked or for a good majority of it. but anyways, if i were to go to davis i know i would really struggle to adjust to the lifestyle and rigor. but maybe this could be good for me, as for a lot of HS iāve just gone to concerts, shows and, parties caring more about that than school. but then again iām paying around 14,000 for a school iām more so forcing myself to go to. the lifestyle i want is still to enjoy all of that but become more focused on school. i initially wanted to go to ucsb to be close enough to LA but far enough to be on my own but i didnāt get in. then got off the waitlist for SC but it cost me another 10,000 so that offer didnāt really change much. so iām really considering staying in LA and going to CC but iām worried about my work habits, and family not wanting me here. another thing this is iāve always wanted to live in/ by the bay area so that was one thing i enjoyed about davis but i donāt know how realistic it would be to travel there frequently. i rlly wanna pursue art and psych and havenāt heard too much about that at davis. i just know davis is an amazing school but it just doesnāt feel like me. if anyone had a similar experience/ gut feeling before moving to davis can you let me know how things ended up going for you? thank u :)
